Welcome to the subscription page of the Vermont Guardian, the award-winning online news journal.

We offer several convenient ways to receive the Vermont Guardian via e-mail. We also offer short-term subscriptions to make it easier for people to take us for a test ride before signing up for a full year, or to send us as a gift to a friend for family member.

Online subscribers receive the following:

For $34.95 a year (or $19.95 for six months), an E-subscriber will receive online access to every article posted to the website, along with texts of podcasts. We currently only post highlights from our weekly online edition to the public.

E-subscribers receive a weekly e-mail alerting them to the new edition, where they can click an image of that week's issue and be directed to a page where they can enter their unique username and password.

Aside from the extra articles, E-subscribers will also get:

Unlimited access to our growing archives. Non-subscribers will only have access to 30 days worth of articles.
Access to all the articles in our monthly Vermont Review of Books. This supplement is available at select bookstores in Vermont only.
Access to select comics from the print edition.
Access to a Discussion Board, where E-subscribers can discuss articles with the editors and other subscribers, post news tips, and alert other members to events of interest.
Special sections that collect our reporting on key special subjects.
Online exclusives such as extended interviews, and much more.

In the coming months, we will also be offering additional Members Only services as they develop. This includes audio files of news events, press conferences and interviews, with the long-term goal of adding video clips as well.
