I do not raise or spend money on name recognition advertising. If elected, I will introduce legislation and organize co-sponsors to provide:

A new U.S. DUD (Department of Un-Do) to reverse tax cuts for the rich, re-establish the inheritance tax, not privatize Social Security, un-do excessive national debt and budget imbalance, not use religion as a political weapon, stop senseless wars, and every other anti-social act and action. This will stall the bushists‚ 2 remaining years. DUD to report directly to the voters, to be staffed by Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore and their supporters.

Environment and Energy Emergency Act [ENEMA] to replace oil with liquid hydrogen in an 18-month all-out crash program, supplemented by solar and hydroelectric power, to address environmental degradation, global warming, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, excessive oil and gasoline prices, peak oil, and the hatred fueling Islamic terrorism. ENEMA will create a wind turbine, water electrolysis and hydrogen liquefaction ("hyliq") industry for cars and homes heating, and store hyliq for low wind periods. Oil tankers would disappear and sailing ships (with small hyliq auxiliary engines), would return. Service stations would add hydrogen pumps, and the nation‚s 100-million car park retrofitted for dual fuel. All this would create economic prosperity as did World War Two. ENEMA would end most pollution and global warming, oil wars, and terrorism. Oil prices would drop from $70 a barrel to $3 and production would stop. The $67 spread finances global terrorism, I believe, so we are financing terrorism. Without oil , oil company shares would drop to penny stocks, and we could de-privatize for one dollar per 100 shares.

Initiative, Referendum and Recall as in California, so voters control legislation.

Televoters Act to convert all TVS to 2-way communication, to conduct nationwide non-binding same-day opinion surveys, to replace manipulated and manipulative small-sample surveys.

Justice for underdogs by replacing patronage judges with experienced, fair and honest jurors, and teaching high-school students legal skills to protect their rights without lawyers. Replace the "how much justice can you afford?" law business with simple justice: abolish judicial immunity, summary judgments, and bench trials, to insure equal justice, not favor the rich and powerful. Also, abolish corporate personhood.

A Federal Fairness Doctrine Law to pool all financing for each elective office to create a level playing field, and equal media access in elections.

Secure health care for all by Medicare for all, regardless of age and employment.

Secure employment: preventing management stock ownership, pay them by the size of the workforce like middle managers, and give every employee a legal right to his/her job. Termination only for just cause after trial by jury. To discourage job exports, goods made by exported jobs to be taxed so imports are less profitable than domestic products.

Secure Social Security: prohibit privatizing and "borrowing" from the Social Security Trust Fund. Sell Treasury securities and raise interest rates, not rip off small savers or enrich banks. Also, amend the Constitution, making Social Security the senior obligation of the U.S. in perpetuity.

Reparations for all victims of discrimination in employment based on age, race, gender, national origin, disability or any other impermissible factor not affecting job performance.

Answers:

1. The "timetable" exists and is 2050, when recoverable oil supplies in Iraq are predicted to be exhausted. Occupying Iraq was dead wrong because it was for privatizing the Iraqi oil industry to skim the profits away from the Iraqi nation. The nine sisters wishing to privatize the Iraqi oil industry, including Exxon Mobil, Chevron Texaco, BP Amoco, Phillips Conoco, and Shell Oil, plus coal and "nucular" CEOs met with Dick "fuck you" Cheney to list their demands from the bushist regime. The Supreme Court denied a demand to see the minutes of this meeting. In the "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man," author John Perkins, himself a retired EHM, calls the war "An EHM Failure in Iraq." Based on EHM successes to bribe Saudi and Kuwaiti royalty, the U.S. expected to buy Saddam Hussein, but failed. The war followed. Non-existent nuclear weapons, "faulty" intelligence, "victory," democratization, war on terror, and lies-yet-to-come will continue until 2050. Credibility gaps in the 9/11 report and attempts to link 9/11 with Saddam, and the show trial of Saddam support this reasoning.

2. It‚s both: topple "unfriendly" governments to stabilize the Middle East so oil profits can be skimmed peacefully, as well as building the Unocal pipeline through Afghanistan to pipe Caspian oil to a sea port. My Middle East policy would be to switch to hydrogen, solar and hydroelectric, and get the hell out of the Middle East, suddenly and forever. Commandeer all necessary civilian and military U.S. aircraft to evacuate all U.S. personnel in harm‚s way from both Iraq and Afghanistan in one single night. They can do their sectarian cleansing civil war without a U.S. presence.

3. I have proposed an Environment and Energy Emergency Act [ENEMA] to replace oil with liquid hydrogen in an 18-month all-out crash program, supplemented by solar and hydroelectric power, to address environmental degradation, global warming, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, excessive oil and gasoline prices, peak oil, and the hatred fueling Islamic terrorism. ENEMA will create a wind turbine, water electrolysis, and hydrogen liquefaction ("hyliq") industry for cars and home heating, and store hyliq for low wind periods. Oil tankers would disappear and sailing ships would return for passengers and freight. Without oil, oil company shares would drop to penny stocks, and we could de-privatize for one dollar per 100 shares. Raze the refineries and replace with hyliq plants.

4. I have proposed a new U.S. DUD (Department of Un-Do) to retroactively reverse tax cuts for the rich, re-establish the inheritance tax, not privatize Social Security, un-do excessive national debt and budget imbalance, not use religion as a political weapon, stop senseless wars, and every other anti-social act and action. This will stall the bushists‚ 2 remaining years; impeachment would do nothing and recall would install Cheney. The new DUD must report directly to the voters, and should be staffed by Goldstar Mother Cindy Sheehan and GM critic Michael Moore, and their supporters.

5. Medicare for All, regardless of age, employment, health status or financial circumstances. Private insurers must be eliminated from the doctor business because Medicare admin costs are only 3% of benefits paid, while private premiums are 33% of benefits. That extra 30% can be eliminated from premium applications by state health insurance departments and used to expand Medicare for All.

6. Employers and lobbies who want cheap Mexican (and Third World) labor, and want to depress U.S. wages by threat of replacing U.S. workers with cheap, scared undocumented labor, want asylum or amnesty or a guest worker program. Most Americans do not. This should be one of the first questions to be decided by national referendum, not by corrupt Congressmen and bad money from lobbies. As for the "700-mile fence," why not a Berlin Wall or better yet a Great Wall of China? How about just a paper ballot national referendum?

7. The "minimum wage" and even "a living wage" are band-aids on America‚s moneyocratic system. We need a "maximum after-tax income" to disincentivize and prevent more Ken Lays (and DeLays and Abramoffs and Ralph Reeds) from using excess money for political bribery and to ruin the employees‚ and stockholders‚ lives. The General Accounting Office should estimate a reasonable "maximum after-tax income" needed for food, shelter, travel, entertainment, etc. [$200,000 or $2-million or whatever], followed by a 100% flat tax.

8. I felt the Walter-McCarran Act was sound and should be re-instated. I have yet to see an improved bill.

9. I am aware of two major national problems: Big Agribusiness, and unacceptable chemical and technological fixes like GMOs, growth hormones, pesticides, microchips in farm animals, etc. The problem with Big Agribusiness is that they are not farmers but profit maximizing megacorporations responsible to no one, yet collect corporate welfare as crop subsidies, to overproduce, depress produce prices, and so destroy family farms and farmers. The chemical and technological fixes are more complex and challenging, and need examination and recommendations from experts in the various fields of farming and agriculture. Milk prices should be set to equalize the return on investment for producers, processors and distributors. An easy exercise for the General Accounting Office.

10. At the recent Vermont Democratic Party Platform Convention in Barre, we voted for repeal of the No Child Left Behind law as a plank. It seems to me that the bushist regime is making money or getting a cut from the producers of NCLB tests which can be quite profitable. More importantly, the bushists hope to exploit the test results to disparage public schools and promote private schools, preferably parochial "private" schools, to indoctrinate future Evangelicals to toe the bushist line. As far as unfunded mandates, we need a Constitutional amendment that unfunded or insufficiently funded mandates are not mandates and not binding on the several states.
